Accu Collective was founded by Ashley Ruchty, a strategic operations and communications professional with more than a decade of experience supporting organizations in both the federal and private sectors. Through her work across international government operations, professional sports, and corporate environments, Ashley developed a deep understanding of how strong systems, clear communication, and trusted relationships are essential to running successful organizations.

Before launching Accu Collective, Ashley served as a Human Resources professional with the U.S. Department of State, supporting embassy operations in Bangkok, Thailand and previously as Administrative Officer in Kuwait City, Kuwait. In these roles, she worked across departments to improve operational efficiency, streamline processes, and support talent management for globally dispersed teams. Earlier in her career, Ashley worked with the Miami HEAT, where she managed premium partnerships, corporate client relationships, and high-profile events, gaining firsthand experience in client engagement and business operations.

Ashley holds a Master of Science in Global Strategic Communications and a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership. Her career has taken her across the United States, the United Kingdom, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia - experiences that shaped her collaborative approach to operations and leadership.

Through Accu Collective, Ashley brings together her expertise in operations, administration, and relationship management to help businesses run more smoothly and efficiently. She created the firm and a trusted network of specialists - allowing business owners to stay focused on what they do best while their operations run seamlessly behind the scenes.

Why I started Accu Collective:

Accu Collective was the outgrowth of a major life transition. I recently moved back to the US after years of living and working abroad with the Department of State. When I left in 2017, it was just me and my husband. We grew our family while we were overseas and now, back in the homeland, I had to reconceive my career trajectory while juggling motherhood (no small feat!).

This gave me pause and I spent a long while considering how I wanted to spend my time and energy in a professional setting. I realized that what I loved most about my career wasn’t just solving operational problems or building better processes (though I do love a good system). It was the people - the conversations, the collaboration, and the feeling of helping others succeed.

I also realized that many businesses - especially growing ones - don’t just need more “help.” They need someone they trust. Someone who understands their vision, keeps things running smoothly behind the scenes, and connects them with the right people at the right time. That’s the heart of Accu Collective: thoughtful operational support rooted in real relationships.

The name “Accu” carries a special meaning for me, too. It’s inspired by my father’s business, Accutech Films, which I grew up watching him build, in rural Ohio - with dedication, precision, and pride. Seeing firsthand what it takes to run and grow a business left a lasting impression on me. The name reflects the values that shaped my own approach to work: accuracy, reliability, and doing things with care.

Accu Collective is my way of bringing those values into the businesses we support today. It’s about creating a trusted partnership, simplifying the operational side of running a company, and building a network of talented people who help great ideas grow.

If you’re building something meaningful and want a partner who truly cares about your success - I’d love to be part of your story.

  • Ashley is a bold, innovative and energetic professional with multi-national and multi-industry work experience. She is the ultimate teammate — her colleagues feel supported by her and they feed off her positivity. She has an innate ability to connect with people and to connect people with each other. She is an event manager, a project manager, a seller, a marketer and a leader. At the HEAT, she was the glue that held our department together for many years. She is smart, detail-oriented, organized, and gives off CEO vibes even in an administrative role.

    — Lauren Rothman

former Client Strategy Director, Miami Heat

  • I worked with Ashley during her entire tenure at the Miami HEAT and charted her professional growth from intern to sales representative to administrative manager. She was the consummate professional with excellent hard skills such as budgeting, event planning, and managing client relationships for top-level corporate entities, as well as soft skills such as internal and external communications, teamwork, and research. We were so sorry to lose Ashley when she left the HEAT, but I have zero doubt that her travels around the world in recent years have made her a more well-rounded, cultured, and empathetic individual. She is a keeper and gets my highest recommendation!

  • Ashley worked for me at the Miami HEAT. She handled a lot of moving pieces for our premium partnerships, including planning high-level events and coordinating international travel for corporate guests. Everything was organized, on time, and handled without drama. She’s professional and made my job easier.

    — John Vidalin

Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer, Miami HEAT

  • Ashley brought a unique mix of operational precision and emotional intelligence to our HR team in Bangkok. She had a natural ability to step into complex personnel situations and resolve them thoughtfully. From streamlining onboarding and managing seasonal hiring to strengthening cross-department collaboration - her impact was both immediate and lasting. Ashley is the kind of professional you trust with your people, your processes, and your mission.

    — Sara H.

Former U.S. Department of State, Human Resources Assistant

  • I had the privilege of working with Ashley during her tenure as an Administrative Assistant in the Medical Unit at the U.S. Embassy in Kuwait. Ashley brought a consistently cheerful demeanor and outgoing personality to the office. Kuwait posed its own unique challenges, yet Ashley’s positive energy created a welcoming environment that significantly boosted morale across the mission. The Embassy Medical Unit is often visited by individuals facing health concerns affecting themselves or their loved ones, but Ashley ensured that visitors left feeling genuinely supported and well cared for. Notably, Ashley served in the Medical Unit during the COVID-19 pandemic, a period that brought unprecedented challenges to both the Medical Unit and the broader embassy community. Ashley demonstrated exceptional organizational skills, a strong work ethic, and an ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Her clear and compassionate communication exemplified her professionalism and commitment to the mission. I wholeheartedly recommend Ashley for any future opportunities. Her contributions were invaluable to the mission and left a positive impact on everyone she encountered.
